Welcome to See U! These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of our products and services, including the See U app, See U Vision smart glasses, the See U neural implant, and this website (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Description of the services

See U provides assistive technology for people who are blind or have severe visual impairment:

• See U app: Free mobile app with accessibility features such as text reading, scene description, GPS navigation, and object recognition
• See U Vision: Smart glasses with augmented reality, text magnification, and voice description
• See U neural implant: Cortical visual prosthesis (in development, waitlist)

3. Eligibility and account registration

3.1. Minimum age

You must be at least 18 to create an account. Users under 18 may use the Services with consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3.2. Registration information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when you register and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for the security of your account and password.

4. License to use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or sell our software or content
• Reverse engineer or try to extract source code
• Use the Services for unlawful or unauthorized purposes
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
• Access data not intended for you, or sign in to a server or account without permission

5. Purchases and payments

5.1. Pricing

Product prices may change without notice. We may modify or discontinue products at any time.

5.2. Payment

We support several payment methods. By providing payment information, you confirm you are authorized to use the selected method.

5.3. Refund policy

We offer a 30-day return window for physical products in original condition. Contact our support to request a refund.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

IMPORTANT: See U services are designed as complementary assistive technology. They are NOT a replacement for:

• Traditional mobility aids (white cane, guide dog)
• Professional orientation and mobility training
• Medical care or ophthalmology treatment
• Your own judgment and safety precautions

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEE U SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, including if:

• You violate these Terms
• You use the Services fraudulently or abusively
• A legal authority requires it
• We discontinue the Services

9. Intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in the Services—including software, design, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks—are owned exclusively by See U or its licensors. You do not acquire any ownership of the Services.

10. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Disputes shall be subject to the courts of Maceió, AL.

11. Changes to the terms

We may change these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
